Composite Bonding is a cosmetic treatment that is not available on the NHS.
It offers a solution to minor gaps or damage to teeth to improve the shape and length of teeth. It can also be used to improve the colour of teeth.
The composite resin is matched to your tooth and is attached and shaped to give a totally natural look. It can be used in conjunction with tooth whitening to improve the overall look.
It is particularly great because the dentist does not need to remove any tooth structure. The composite resin is bonded directly onto the tooth surface and then given a very high grade polish.
Patients completing Orthodontic treatment will often have composite bonding. Teeth that are misaligned can get a lot of wear and chipping, especially on front teeth. This can become very noticeable when the teeth have been straightened. Teeth are usually built up after they have been straightened resulting in a much more aesthetically pleasing result.
Composite Bonding can usually be completed in one visit and the treatment is completely non-invasive. With regular maintenance of your oral hygiene it can last for many years.
